Our newest solar generator and back-up power system

Powerstation

Unlike traditional solar systems that require on-site construction and installation, our PowerStation is fully assembled and tested in our factory under strict quality control standards and delivered directly to your location, ready to operate in just a few hours.

Mobile Powerstation

Take your power with you!

Are you a tradesperson? Do you have a cottage? Fishing lodge? Recreational vehicle? Would you like power wherever you go? These are not systems you can buy on Amazon. They come with 10 year (minimum) OEM warranties and can back-up an entire 200A 120/240 VAC service entrance when appropriately configured.

Our mobile PowerStation may be a great option for you. Just load it in the back of your truck, van or trailer and power whatever you need. And when you return home plug it into your load center and you'll have back-up power for your essential loads in the event of a grid failure.

There are numerous ways to charge PowerStation. DC Solar. AC solar. A small generator. The grid. Another PowerStation. A wind generator. And more. . . .

There are hundreds of ways we can configure your system. Standard configurations come in 3kW AC with 5 kWh energy storage, all the way up to 15 kW AC & 30 kWh energy storage. All mobile.

You can even rent a mobile Powerstation from us and try it for a day, a week, or a month.

success story showcase

Welcome to our page of customer success stories.

Here are just a few.

  1. A small farm; 50 acres, located in Canada. Objective: Reduce future energy cost by 50% or more and obtain government funding to offset the initial costs. How: Installed a small grid tied solar generator, obtained a net metering agreement with their utility, and replaced an inefficient fuel oil heating system and 2 ton A/C with a high efficiency cold climate heat pump.
  2. A rural residential property, 5 acres, location in the USA. Objective: Reduce future electricity costs by 50% or more, and provide a shelter for an existing home business. How: Designed and constructed a solar carport, obtained a net-metering agreement from their utility, and obtained a 30% investment tax credit to offset the costs (see image on right).
  3. An Educational Sustainability Center, located on 20 acres in the USA. Objective. Construct a wide range of solar and energy storage systems to showcase renewable energy applications and offset all utility provided electricity. How: Designed an installed a solar pavilion, solar carport, solar fence, mobile PowerStation, and fossil fuel generator for essential loads back-up.
  4. A residential property owner in the USA. Objective: Design and install a solar generator, and battery back-up system for a hurricane shelter in Florida. How: The system includes an advanced hybrid inverter, a DC solar array, an AC solar array, a fossil fuel generator, and an LFP energy storage system which offsets utility provided electricity and provides a perpetual energy source for their hurricane shelter regardless of the weather condition or the state of the electricity grid.
  5. A real estate agent in the USA. Objective: Reduce the cost of ownership for their company vehicle driven in excess of 15,000 miles per year. How: Installed a small tier one net metering solar generator, and the customer traded in an existing 3 series BMW for a Tesla model 3 that uses the solar generator to provide the fuel needed for operation. The five year operating cost was reduced from $66K to $42K and the customer replaced the majority of their utility purchased electricity for additional savings.
  6. A large farm in Canada. Objective: Maintain peak demand below 50 kW to avoid a significant increase in utility electricity costs for a customer where net metering is not allowed by the utility. How: Designed and installed a ground mount solar system that keeps peak demand below the threshold that would trigger a demand rate structure and increased costs. We're currently adding capacity to this system in anticipation of increased customer loads with high efficiency bi-facial solar modules.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@nasolarpro.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Renewable energy systems fall in price every year. So never hurry. Take your time. Explore, investigate, and research. We can help. We never charge for advice! And for those of you in Canada sit tight and see what the new federal budget in April 2023 will offer to reduce the initial cost of your project. 2024 may be the best year ever for a solar energy investment.

A kW, kilo-watt, is a unit of power. One kilo-watt equals 1,000 watts. A kWh, kilo-watt hour is a unit of energy. One kilo-watt hour is the amount of energy you will use if you power a 1 kW load for one hour. The cost of 1 kWh is approximately $0.15 throughout North America. The cost has increased an average of 3% every year during the past 50 years.

Electricity costs throughout North America have historically been linked to the cost of fossil fuels. This is slowly changing as renewable energy sources are playing a dominant role in all new energy generation. One thing is for certain. If you generate your own electricity your cost will be less. In many cases less than 1/2 the cost of buying electricity from your utility.
